GEORGIA has been used as a comfortable live aboard since mid-2017.This robust example of the French designed world cruiser was meticulously constructed over many years at Port Adelaide. The vessel has an impressive survey report upon completion of the hull and was surveyed again prior to launching in 2006. Both are available for perusal.Endurance 35 yachts in the same cutter rigged ketch configuration as Georgia featured as 2 of the 17 starters in the recent GGR single handed around the world non-stop and unassisted race. The Aries wind vane self-steering proved to be indestructible in this race.As you step aboard this large volume cruiser you will be impressed by the classic lines and robust rigging. Eventually a future owner may decide to replace the heavy wooden masts with lighter aluminium thus making the boat even stiffer. The integrated Hull Keel and Deck of this ferro cement vessel makes it extremely strong and eliminates the failure points of other production boats. The ketch rig provides many options for sail choices to maintain comfortable and safe cruising. Sails include Mainsail Mizzen yankee cut furling Headsail yankee cut furling Staysail and new Gennaker. Georgia is fitted with Aries wind vane self-steering connected directly to the wheel steering.Georgia has full headroom throughout the Saloon and Cabin.Galley has pressurised water two enormous sinks 240V hotplates and oven. A portable spirit stove for use away from marina.Saloon has a 12V/240V TV with built in DVD. AM/FM radio CD with USB input.
